My name is Chenai Kitchen. I am originally from Zimbabwe and I moved to Vancouver to pursue my PhD in 2022. My interests are in substance use and addiction and more so the social determinants that influence associated outcomes. In my spare time I enjoy baking, dancing, particularly salsa and Bachata, and of course, hanging out by the beach.
I am currently researching the potential role of cannabis in harm reduction practices which largely builds on my background in pharmaceutical sciences and social medicine.
